عمت الأمطار مختلف المحافظات السورية وتساقطت الثلوج على المرتفعات الجبلية وفي دمشق نتيجة تأثر البلاد بامتداد منخفض جوي في طبقات الجو كافة مرفقاً بكتلة هوائية باردة وعالية الرطوبة. حيث استيقظ أهالي دمشق صباح اليوم على تساقط غزير للثلوج لأول مرة هذا الموسم
