برعاية إدارة مدرسة ابن زيدون للتعليم الأساسي ح1 وبجهود مخلصة من المعلمات الفاضلات ومجلس الأمهات المشارك بالعمل، تم إقامة قرية تراثية في المدرسة وذلك تعزيزا للهوية الوطنية والتراث وتدعيما لمنهج الدراسات الاجتماعية والتربية الوطنية، حيث تحوي هذه القرية مجموعة من الأركان ( القهوة الشعبية وركن البحر والغوص وركن الزراعة وركن غرفة الجلوس والمطبخ وأدواته)، كما تضمنت صورا للشيخ زايد رحمه الله وعرضا تقنيا للتراث.

وقد قام فريق تقييم القرية التراثية من المنطقة التعليمية بزيارة للقرية يوم الاحد 2012 / 11/11، لمشاركة المدرسة بهذه المسابقة على مستوى المنطقة والتي نأمل أن تحقق من خلالها مركزا متقدم( شكر خاص للمعلمات ومجلس الامهات القائمات بالعمل ).
