بلد في شرق آسيا ، يغطي المساحة الجنوبية من شبه الجزيرة الكورية. تحدها في الشمال, كوريا
الشمالية و التي كانت تشكل معها أمة واحدة حتى سنة 1948 يفصلها عن اليابان بحر داخلي يسمى
بحر اليابان ، و مضيق كوريا في الجنوب الشرقي توجد كوريا الجنوبية في أقصى شرق القارة الاسوية مناخها
شبه مداري تتنمي إلى مجموعة الاقطار الصناعية الجديدة.
